Since its beginning in 1982, Son Servants has provided opportunities for youth and adults to experience short-term mission trips, both within and outside the United States. Son Servants’ aim is to provide quality experiences that can be carried back to the local church and, with God’s help, into a lifetime of service.
Son Servants joins local agencies, pastors, and missionaries in providing labor and funds for work projects. Specific tasks vary from year to year and from trip to trip, ranging from helping a widow in Tennessee with routine upkeep of her home to working on a church building in Jamaica. The majority of our trips also provide some sort of outreach to area children.
Students will deepen their walks with Christ and experience Christian community with others from the United States, see, worship, and live with believers in our own and other countries, experiencing and sharing the love of Jesus. We support and join in the work of local ministries and Christian agencies by providing such services as building churches, home repairs, evangelical outreach, and children’s programs. Our hope is that the student will return to his or her own church more committed to helping the church become more involved in missions.
